These beans were grown in the Malaba Coast, which is in the southwestern part of India. When coffee was first shipped around the world, green beans would "age" during slow voyages to America, giving it a mellow flavor. Farmers seek to copy this historic flavor by spreading out the beans on floors of open warehouses, exposing the beans to the wet winds of monsoon season for three to four months. The results are stupendous...full body, savory notes, and low acidity!
