Product Description:
Indulge in these specialty beans from the Central Highlands of Chanchamayo (1200-1750 altitude). These beans are part of the larger region of Junin and called "Minca," which refers in the Quechua language of the Peruvian Andes to the special camaraderie between farmers. During non-havesting season, farmers will move from farm to farm, helping their neighbors until all the work is done, hence the word "Minca" to describe their friendship. Therefore, these beans are produced by various smallholders and we are so proud to partner with these hardworking farmers as they pioneer organic coffee growing in Peru!
